Which country, outside the U.S., might technically lay claim to the creation of the game basketball and why...?

The game of basketball was invented by a Canadian Dr James A Naismith who was born 6th November 1861 in a farmhouse near Almonte, Ontario.

Could you tell me a little bit about Rugby? Is it like soccer?

Rugby is similar to your gridiron Football except tougher and harder

Your gridiron wears the Dynasty shoulder Pads and the protective crash helmets. Here in England it is played as a mans game with real men.
