how does one learn about making saddles ??
is there an apprentiship?? are there any books or courses??

I think that you just have to do an equine course and do some experience with saddle fitting. I can't recall seeing any courses associated with saddle fitting specifically. But I might find out for you when I go back to Uni. OK?
